    What are the duties of a bankrupt?

    • If required, attend before the Official Receiver for examination.
    • Disclose all assets disposed of within twelve months preceding bankruptcy.
    • Disclose any gifts of a value of $500 or more made within five years preceding bankruptcy.
    • Attend two counseling sessions.
    • If required, make surplus income payments.
    • Provide monthly income and expense statements.
    • Deliver any non-exempt assets to the trustee so that they can be sold for the benefit of your creditors.
